This short course prepares participants to use and understand PSI reports and metrics by incorporating them into their day-to-day routine of managing alarms. Trainees utilise PSI when viewing reports to identify bad actors and interpret alarm metrics (KPIs): standing alarms, alarm floods, chattering alarms, and consequential alarms. Participants will be guided through use of the built-in tools: Alarm Shelving, Audit & Enforce, Documentation & Rationalisation, inBoundTM- Alarms for safe operations, and Alert Director.
